twelve month intervals. Don't service it, and you run the
risk of it failing altogether.
Air conditioning is also different from other systems on
your vehicle, it needs specialist attention by trained engineers
with specialised skills and equipment.
For this reason Coolair, the leading independent
air conditioning system manufacturers have appointed
authorised centres to carry out the specialist repair and
servicing of air conditioning systems.
All you have to do is have your air conditioning serviced
at a Coolair authorised service centre and Coolair will
provide a Free Guarantee against your air
conditioning failing within the next twelve months. If the
system does fail then the guarantee covers parts and labour
required for the repair.
Depending on the age of your vehicle you are also covered
against stone damage to costly elements such as the condenser.

Your air conditioning system will be issued with its own
service record book. Should you sell the vehicle within
the guarantee period the cover transfers with the vehicle,
helping to maintain the vehicles resale value.
- Free cover for parts and labour against the repair of
the air conditioning system failure*
- Free repair or replacement of the air conditioning condenser
due to stone chip damage on vehicles up to 36 months old.
- The Guarantee can be transferred to subsequent owners
for the balance of the guarantee period.
- The Guarantee is renewed free of charge every twelve
months following the scheduled service of the air conditioning
system, providing extended cover.
*The air conditioning System
is covered for 12 months following the system being serviced
by a Coolair authorised service centre and the validated
record sent to Coolair.
WHAT
DO WE DO IN AN
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM SERVICE OPERATION?
ONE YEAR SERVICE SCHEDULE:
- Record system
- Record air vent outlet temperatures
- Check a/c operation, switch function, blower speeds,
airflow
- Recover refrigerant for re-cycling
- Visual check of a/c hoses and pipes for chafing, joints
and components for security and leaks etc.
- Check and clean condenser surface area
- Check condenser fan operation (if fitted)
- Check compressor belt, for tension and condition (if
renewed at extra cost to customer)
- Check wiring and connections for security and corrosion
(clean and make good any defects found)
- Renew receiver drier; renew system o-rings if required
- Evaluate system
- Leak test with OXYGEN FREE NITROGEN to ensure good system
sealing.
- Inject system oil if required (top up only)
- Re-charge system (top up refrigerant if necessary)
- Leak test system
- Run vehicle and check system
- Record operating pressures
- Record air vent outlet temperatures
- Install valve security seals
We strongly recommend you have your
A/C System checked and serviced once a year to keep it in
prime condition and avoid expensive repair bills.
